If you are experiencing difficulties and challenges Counselling & Psychotherapy offers a private space where you can talk about all aspects of your life and your relationships; knowing that you are safe, heard in confidence and listened to without judgement. I am a Dublin based, qualified Psychotherapist and Counsellor. I currently practise in Dundrum and in the city centre on Camden Street. My direct mobile number is 086 – 120 6151

I am committed to providing a competent and compassionate counselling service for individuals and couples. I believe that counselling & psychotherapy can affect positive change for everyone, whether engaged in through crisis, seeking support and/or for personal development. Counselling starts with you. I understand that you may feel stuck, unable to change or lost. My aim is to accompany and support you as you create and develop new ways to work through the challenges and symptoms and the underlying causes of your difficulties. I also trust that you have the resourcefulness to explore and to understand how your difficulties came about, to understand how and why the patterns repeat themselves and to understand how you have learned to cope, in your own unique way. Excerpt from Barbra Streisand’s autobiography My Name Is Barbra.

I told my therapist once “sometimes I think I’m going a bit mad”.

And he said, which I thought was wonderful, “we’re all mad, you’re mad, I’m mad, the only difference is… I respect my madness.”

That was very revealing and I thought, oh, it’s ok. It’s not only me but also people in all walks of life who feel this way and maybe it’s not such a terrible thing. “It maybe part of the artist’s experience to express it” - that was very liberating. He actually stripped away half my anxiety with those few words.
