After a hectic but brilliant few weeks, I need to catch up on CPD. No better place than from a sun lounger. Factor 50 on, brain switched on, trusty side kick trying (but failing) to escape the heat! Let's do this!!

Lady D sat up beside me to join me at the virtual conference today. I get the feeling - I could be wrong - that she was a little sleepy!

I stayed awake throughout and will be putting my new knowledge to good use.

In our continuing commitment to excellence in client care we are delighted to have recently taken delivery of a Topcon Maestro OCT-2.

Optical coherence tomography (OCT) is a noninvasive imaging method that uses reflected light to create pictures of the back of your eye. It can be used to detect and manage diseases like age-related macular degeneration, diabetes-related retinopathy and glaucoma.

For a small charge we can now offer this as an enhancement to our standard eye examination.

Just let us know if you’d like to avail of this service when booking your eye examination.

I’m back to a very huffy Lady D!

A great few days learning. Some things blew my mind, I got excited by new ideas and what I can offer to my patients.

Lots more reading up to do and probably more courses as a result. Hopefully online so Lady D can join 🤣
