Fully appreciate the importance of stretching after a run. Ran my first 5 miles since August Bank Holiday with an odd 3 mile run here and there, my butt was on fire by the time I got home. The leg work out with the band is brilliant for this:)

A very simple way to strengthen your Gluteus Maximus is a single leg bridge. Lie on you back with both knees bent and feet glued together. Lift your hips and at the sametime engage your buttocks and stabilize the spine with the TVA. Inhale to draw 1 leg towards you, exhale as you extend your leg, keeping the knees inline at all times. The hips should stay level and not tilt to the lifted leg side. Enjoy:)
