The death has occurred of Ernest Kenny of Templeogue, Dublin and formerly of Lagore, Dunshaughlin, Co Meath. Peacefully, at home surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his sisters Bernadette, Patricia and Fionnula and brother Clementine.

Dearly beloved husband Christina and much loved father of Máire, Noirín, Deirdre and Gerry, proud grandfather of Ciara, Aoife, Aisling, Ellen, Amy, Eoin, Cormac, Eimear, Barry and Aidan. Ernest will be sadly missed by his family, sons-in-law Mick and Brendan, daughter-in-law Carol, niece Áine, nephew Shane and a wide circle of friends around the country and particularly in St. Jude's parish and GAA club.

Reposing at his home in Templeogue from 2pm on Tuesday with Removal to St. Judes Church, Templeogue on Tuesday evening arriving at 5.30pm. Ellen McCabe (nee Kiernan), Woodlands Hall, Ratoath, Co Meath and formerly of Ringsend. 8th of April 2026
Passed away peacefully after a long bravely fought illness at home while surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her beloved husband Seany, daughter Carina, Parents (Kevin and Margaret) her sisters Betty and Susan. Beloved Mam to Ericka, Stephen, Sean, Niall, Fiona, and Dylan.

Ellen will be sadly missed by her loving family, brothers Billy and Kevin, sisters Mary, Noeleen, Pat, Phyliss, Bernie and Cathy, sons-in-law Georgie and Joe, daughters-in-law, Cathtrina and Ashleigh, her treasured grandchildren Darragh, Ellie, Abbie, Sean, Georgie, Frankie, Penny, Luca, Charlotte and Maeve, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Sheila Strickland, Moyleggan, Batterstown. 6th April 2026.

Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. A loving mother to her eight children Jacqueline, Suzanne, Sharon, Joy, Jim, Annamarie, Carolyn and Angel.
Sheila will be sadly missed by her large extended family: her sons-in-law Kenneth, John, Max and Nesip, her grandchildren Robert, Adam, Victoria, Laura, Samuel, Ava, Alexandra, Cian, Shane, Melissa and Jack, great-granddaughter Grace, siblings Marie and Paud, nieces, nephews, friends and her beloved dogs Poppy and Willow. Predeceased by her brothers William and John.

🎭 Meet the Cast: Adrian McEntaggart

Adrian, who plays John Proctor, makes his debut with the Dunshaughlin Players in The Crucible.

He previously appeared as Franz the Butler in The Sound of Music with the Ratoath Musical Society, and also performed in the GAA production Oskars, where he won Best Actor for his portrayal of Michael Collins.

Adrian is excited to explore the complexity of one of Arthur Miller’s most iconic characters, and would like to thank the cast, crew, and his friends and family for their continued support and encouragement.

Bogganstown, Drumree, Co Meath. 1st April 2026. Peacefully at Dunshaughlin Care Home following a short illness. Beloved husband to Breda and loving father of Justin and Claire. Predeceased by his parents Brendan and Nora and his brother Joe. Pat will be sadly missed by his loving family, Justin’s wife Fionnuala, Claire’s partner Simone, grandchildren Caoimhe and Donnchadh, brothers Gerry, Johnny, sisters Cecily, Valerie, Daphne and Noreen (Eleanor) family, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, and friends.

The death has occurred of Anne Grant (née Lee), formerly of Batterstown, Co. Meath and Singapore.
Anne passed away suddenly but peacefully in the care of the wonderful staff at Elm Hall Nursing Home on Saturday 21st of March. Anne will be deeply missed by her children, Deirdre, Brian and Gráinne, her step sons, Sean and Pat, her sons-in-law Karl and Fergal, daughters-in-law Helen, Eimear, Marie and Gill, as well as her many beloved grandchildren Colum, Lauren, Sadhbh, Éabha, Liam, Mannix, Oran, Donncha, Senan, Rachel, Adam, Matthew, Daniel, Louise and Ellen. She is lovingly remembered by her extended family in Singapore and her great friends and neighbours in Batterstown and beyond.

Anne was predeceased by her husband Brian, her parents John and Agnes, her brother Pat and step son Owen.
