We are saddened to announce the death of Margaret Ward, Rarutra, Emyvale, Co.Monaghan. Thursday 27th November peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.

Pre-deceased by her parents Michael & Catherine Ward, sisters Sr. Helen Ward & Kathleen Gray, brother Pat, brother in law John Smyth and sister in law Sheila Ward.

Margaret will be sadly missed by her sister Bridie Smyth, brother Genie, brother in law Eddie Gray, nieces Diane, Evelyn, Helen, Frances, Joanne & Edel, nephews Sean, Oliver, Fergal, Edward & Aiden, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May Margaret's gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Margaret's remains will repose at McMahon's Funeral Home, Emyvale, H18 FK80 on Saturday from 5pm - 8pm. Removal on Sunday morning at 10.15am travelling via Margaret's Home in Rarutra to arrive at St.Patrick's Church, Corracrin for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Bernadette (Bernie) Hughes, Blackheath, Greenwich, London and originally Shanco, Newbliss, Co.Monaghan, Wednesday 29th October 2025 peacefully at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Greenwich surrounded by her devoted family.

Predeceased by her brothers and sisters John, Pat, infant Hugh, Maureen, Annie, Betty and Teddy and sister in law Ree Murphy, Monaghan.

Beloved wife of Pa**ie Hughes (Emyvale) and beloved Mother of Marie (Ray), Deirdre, Patricia (Mark), Edward, Paul (Kim) and Ciaran. Nan to twelve beautiful grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one to be. She is reunited in heaven with her grandson, baby Jack now 25 years old. Beloved sister of Eileen Mulligan (Clones), Agnes Cremmins (Castleisland, Co.Kerry), Arthur (Dublin), Frank (Birmingham), Vincent (Sussex) and Michael (Luton), sister in law to Bridget Corrigan (Monaghan), nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives and friends.

Bernadette's Requiem Mass will take place at St.Thomas More and St.Fisher Church, Arbroath Road, London, SE9 8RR on Thursday 20th November at 1pm.

Forever in our hearts. May Bernie rest in the gentle arms of Jesus and Our Lady.

We are saddened to announce the death of James (Jim Joe) Mohan, Dernadarriff, Carrickroe, Co Monaghan, H18 W265. Thursday 13th November peacefully at Drumbear Lodge surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his sisters Annie & Eileen and his brothers Patrick Gerard in infancy and Kevin.

James is deeply loved and will be sadly missed by his wife Eileen and children Pauline Devine (Jason), Peter Mohan, Patricia Larmer (Ian), Terence Mohan (Sharon), Ita Toner (Mickey) and his grandchildren. Sisters Margaret, Theresa, Rose and Bernadette, brother Peter, sister in law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.

James’s remains will repose at his residence (H18 W265) on Friday from 2pm - 10pm, house private to family and friends morning of the funeral please.

Funeral mass on Saturday morning at 11am at St. Patrick’s Church, Clara, H18 W602. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

We are saddened to announce the death of Mary McKenna (FO), Dernalussett House, Dernalussett, Emyvale, Co.Monaghan, H18 N627, Wednesday 5th November.

Predeceased by her loving husband Pat, sisters Peggy, Dymphna, Sr Monica, Josie, and brother Jimmy.

Mary will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children Geraldine (Terry), Raymond (Bridget), Aiden (Jacqui) and Dermot (Maureen), her sister Vera Treanor, her much loved grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

We are saddened to announce the death of Frank Askin, Fedoo, Monaghan, H18 EH60. Tuesday 4th November suddenly but peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Pre-deceased by his parents Frank & Annie Askin.

The death has occured of Margaret (Peg) Kearns (nee McKenna), Claddagh, Coolshannagh Road, Monaghan, H18 CP58, on Friday 24th October peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff in Drumbear Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family.

Pre-deceased by her loving husband John (Johnny), her parents Edward & Catherine, sisters Sadie & Mary and brother Eamonn.

Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her son Eamon, grandchildren John & Tula, sister Susan, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Margaret will be sadly missed and forever remembered by her family and friends.

Pre-deceased by her husband Peter, infant son Peader and brothers Pat & Mickey.

Annie is deeply regretted by her heartbroken daughters, Margaret, Ann, Brigid & Mary, sons in law Brian & Ted, her precious grandchildren Leonie (Jim), Dara (Joe) & Liam, her adored great grandchildren Croíadh & Seán, sister in law and good friend Mary, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours.
