We are saddened to announce the death of George McMeel (PatJack), Knocknagrave, Tydavnet, Co.Monaghan, Friday 27th February in his 94th year, peacefully in Cavan General Hospital in the presence of his loving family, following the care of the staff of Drumbear Nursing Home.

Predeceased by his loving wife Peggy and infant son James Patrick.

George will be deeply missed by his sons Eamon (Marie) and Malachy (Becky), daughters Annamarie Woods (PJ), Roisin Carragher (Martin) and Kay Treanor (Mickey), Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, sisters Annie Lynch and Bridget Quigley, sister in law Bridie McMeel, brother in law Tom McLaughlin, nieces, nephews, in-laws, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May George’s gentle soul Rest in Peace.

George’s remains will repose at the family home Knocknagrave (H18 F991) on Saturday and Sunday.

Please note there will be a one way system in place, entering from the Knocknagrave side.

Removal on Monday morning at 10.30am to arrive at the Sacred Heart Church, Carrickroe (via Corryarabeg) for requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

We are saddened to announce the death of Josephine Caulfield née Corr, Tydavnet Lodge, Tydavnet, Co. Monaghan and formally Aughnameena, Scotstown, Friday 27th February at her daughter Ann's home (H18 TW82) surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased her parents Mary Ellen & Peter Joe Corr, husband John Caulfield, sister Teresa, brother Peter.

Josephine will sadly missed by her daughter Ann (Vincent), son John (Caroline), grandchildren Richard, Shane, Shannon, Mark, Ciara, Conor, Cathal, Darragh& Killian, her 4 great grandchildren Ayla, Jace, Bearach & Loughlin, sisters Ann & Dympna and brother James Patrick, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

We are saddened to announce the death of May McMahon née Lavery, Preston, England & formerly Lenagh, Emyvale. Saturday 14th February, peacefully, surrounded by her daughter Mary & son in law Mike.

Predeceased by her husband Ted, brother Paddy and her nephew Darren Lavery.

May will be sadly missed by her daughter Mary, son Gerard & their families, the Lavery family, Lenagh, the McMahon family Killycooley, Emyvale and many friends.

We are saddened to announce the death of Philomena (Phyllis) Lynch née O’Brien, Gillbrooke Nursing Home, Fivemiletown/Killasonna, Granard. Co Longford and formerly Mullinderg, Emyvale, Co.Monaghan. Thursday 19th February peacefully at South West Acute Hospital, Enniskillen.

Loving daughter of the late John & Mary Ellen O’Brien and devoted wife of the late Noel. Predeceased by her sisters Kathleen and Josie.

Beloved mother of Noel (Nessa), John (Martina), Kevin (Jo), Christine (Ben) Warnock. Dearly beloved grandmother of Stephen, Thomas, Ciara, Áine, Adam, David, Hannah, Matthew, Lucia, Niamh, Cormac, Sinead (RIP), & Ben and her 3 great grandchildren. Phyllis will be sadly missed by her brother Sean (Kathleen) and her sister Eilis Brennan, extended family and friends.

We are saddened to announce the death of Edward (Eddie) McKenna (Biddy), Killybern, Carrickroe, Emyvale, Co Monaghan, H18 KR66. Monday 16th February, peacefully at Cavan General hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Pre deceased by his wife Philomena, parents Margaret & Owen, brothers James & Eugene, sisters Kathleen & Mary, brothers in-law and sisters in law.

Pre-deceased by her loving husband Paddy, parents Michael and Annie O’Hanlon, her brothers Sean, Michéal & Henry and sisters Máire & Dympna.

Alice will be sadly missed by her daughters Anne (Anthony), Ursula (Paul) & Sinead (Paul) & son Pauric (Majella), her sisters Joan & Ursula, her grandchildren, great grandchildren, her extended family and friends.
