So many of my clients are standing at the edge of their rebirth... one foot still in what was and the other not quite landed in what's next.

They are shedding roles, identities and stories that no longer fit them... they are learning to find their centre on unsteady ground... And beneath it athey also feel excited by the potential held within the rebirth.

What's needed here isn't achieved through forcing or pushing but witnessing and honoring...

Spring Equinox is a time of rebirth and renewal, when what has been forming beneath the surface begins to take shape.

This Spring Equinox ceremony invites you to honor what has been shaped in you, what has been refined and completed so you can reclaim your power and energy from what you are leaving behind. It also invites you to name what you are ready to cultivate, embody and step into.

This ceremony is for those who can feel that something has shifted...where the old skin feels too right...where you are navigating the in-between and are ready to reclaim lost parts of yourself and step forward intentionally onto your path.

Rebirth doesn't have to be messy....just as nature teases us with the first buds of Spring, you too are being called to soften into the growth that's waiting for you.

You don't need to reinvent yourself or become someone completely new, you're being invited to reveal more of what's already within you..

I’ve navigated many thresholds in my life. Some invited me to lean into growth, expansion, rebirth while others invited me to sit closer to death, grief and regeneration.

After each stage, there was who I was before crossing the threshold and who I was after.

The thresholds looked like:
- navigating burnout
- leaving accountancy
- starting my own business
- walking the shamanic path
- death of my grandfather
- letting go of teaching reiki
- perimenopause
- caring for a loved one

And each one of them asked something of me...

An Cailleach brings you to the threshold of Imbolc, you reach across your hands to be greeted by Goddess Brigid.

It’s time to move from your inner cave and gently emerge into the world. You carry with you the wisdom, dreaming and visioning gifted and earned through winter. You allow these tender seedlings to enter your creative heart.

Do not rush this process of emerging. Let yourself taste it fully.

Winter has ‘worked’ on you, mourn what is lost and can’t come forward. Then let the fresh breeze of Imbolc bring life back into the parts of you that are needed in this coming cycle.

Imbolc the place of beginnings...

It's the gentle call to move from the deep holding of the element of earth to allow the whisps of the element of air to feed inspiration and the breathing in of life... Inviting you, like the gentle snowdrops, to begin to slowly emerge from your deep rest.

In the darkness, we rest and trust that in the emptiness something will emerge....

But we need to take space to let ourselves truly hear what Spirit and our Soul is asking of us... What the great web of life is asking from us.

To listen and feel the difference between what the heart and the mind desires.

We take space to make room for clarity to take root.

As the year draws to a close, I'm not going to list achievements or business wins as this year has gifted me something else - deep gratitude for the people in my life... the support from the human and non-human has touched my heart this year.

2025 continues to shape me and the foundations of my life... laying at my feet the gifts of learning patience, resilience and the art of receiving... and the part that we often forget - how to be with the great mystery of life. To let the uncertainty and unknown sit at the table without reaching for answers. To let hope and possibilty rest in our heart.

It was a year the contained a multitude of experiences. Many of the threads of 2025 will continue to weave into the coming year, a continuation and other threads will not be coming forward... and I trust my hands will find the threads and colors that need to be woven into the tapestry of my soul.

That is what I wish for you - to stand back and look at the taspestry of your life and soul and no matter how beautiful or heart breaking it is, that you do your best to bless it... and as you cross this threshold may you leave space for the mystery of life to suprise you.

I want to thank each and everyone one of you who have contributed to my life this year. Those that have offered support, wisdom, kindness, humour, honesty, kindness and your presence. I am deeply grateful.

I want to thank those who have given me the gift to walk alongside them and support them on their healing path whether through sessions, mentoring or ceremony. I admire you all for having the courage to open your heart to healing.

A special thanks to the plant, tree, animal and spirit allies who supported us and my ceremonies throughout the year. They are my best teachers.

And of course a special mention to my teachers who show my how to walk honestly, authentically and deeply the path of the heart

I’ve been walking the Celtic Wheel for 14 years… and the medicine of Winter Solstice shows up differently each time.

It has appeared as:
- the push-pull of the deep call to rest versus the learned 'need' to keep busy
- tending beautiful dream seeds that emerged slowly
- being stripped back to the bare bones so I could see clearly what matters
-getting lost in the darkness and learning to wait patiently for the light
-the sharp, loving whisper of An Cailleach asking me to turn towards what I'd kept hidden within.

In this episode, I share how to walk with the energy of Winter Solstice and not ignore it's wisdom.

Winter Solstice is the turning point of the Celtic Wheel that invites us to sit in the darkness where we befriend stillness, quietness and our shadow.

Where we learn to trust in the cycles of life... that the light will return and not to lose hope in the dark days of life.

Can we let darkness be a teacher that shows us how to live more fully.. to show up more fully for life?

From Winter Solstice until Imbolc, we are called to rest in the fertile void, to dream ourselves into being, to listen to what is emerging from our soul and to receive from the darkness as much as the returning light.

When you reach the end of year, it's easy to focus only on what hasn't changed... To think that you haven't done or achieved enough.. to look at yourself and life with a hard lens.

Yet, when you take the eagles view and scan over the full year you may be surprised by what you've forgotten... The beautiful places you've seen, the laughter with friends, the strength and courage you found within, the ability to stay with yourself, the hobby you picked up, the clear choices you made...

And yes there will be things you wished you did differently or even tried... You may have left fear and comfort steer you... You may have turned away from what was actually calling your attention.

Yet this is not the end of your story.. this is a completion of one chapter... And now you get to pause and reflect before taking action.. you get to end before jumping into a beginning.

In our ceremony tomorrow, Rose our plant ally will hold you with compassion as you bring reconciliation to 2025...

Here we'll prepare our inner soil... What you bless and release can become the foundation for what you are able to create in the next cycle. It can become the wisdom you integrate and bring forward into 2026.

You don’t need to finish the year soft or strong… you get to choose how you meet this threshold.

When you know what season of life you're navigating, it becomes easier to meet the end of the year with compassion instead of comparison.

Some years shape you, stripe you bare so you can rebuild….others help you grow and take up space… some shake everything you thought was steady… some are delicously full of adventure… some throw unexpected curveballs and others flow like a steady stream.
