Many people ask me what the difference is between meditation and hypnosis.
Both are beautiful tools that help calm the mind and support the nervous system, but they work in slightly different ways.
Meditation is usually about becoming more present and aware.
You observe your thoughts, connect with your breath, and allow the mind and body to settle into stillness. It is a practice of awareness and presence.
Hypnosis, on the other hand, works more directly with the subconscious mind. In a deeply relaxed state, we can access the part of the mind where habits, emotional patterns, beliefs, and memories are stored. This allows us to gently shift patterns such as anxiety, fears, phobias, or limiting beliefs.
You are always in control during hypnosis — it simply allows the mind to become more open to positive suggestions and healing change.
My own journey began with meditation. I became a meditation teacher in 2016, and through this work I saw how powerful relaxation and inner awareness can be for healing.
Over time, I wanted to go deeper into helping people transform patterns held in the subconscious mind, which led me to train and become a certified hypnotherapist.
Today, I often combine both approaches — meditation to calm and ground the nervous system, and hypnosis to create deeper subconscious change.
Both are powerful. Together, they can be truly transformative.🫶
