Clarecare Services delivered by Clarecare are based on the philosophy of working in a supportive role with people to assist them with solutions to their problems.

Clarecare offices are based in Ennis, Killaloe, Kilrush, Ennistymon & Shannon. Clarecare provides three core services throughout County Clare - Addiction Treatment, Care of the Older Person (which includes Home Support, Social Clubs and Social Work for Older Person Services) and Family Support Services. Clarecare also operate Thrift Shops at our centres in Ennis and Killaloe with opening hours 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. RCN 20012847

✨ Today, Tuesday 6 January, marks the final day of the Christmas season, known in Ireland as Nollaig na mBan (Women’s Christmas or Little Christmas) 🎄

Following Twelfth Night, the day traditionally recognises the work women carried out over the Christmas period 💚 It was a time for women to rest and relax ☕ while household duties were traditionally taken over by men 🧹

The day also coincides with the Christian Feast of the Epiphany ✨, commemorating the visit of the Three Wise Men to Bethlehem 👑👑👑 In Irish tradition, Christmas decorations were kept in place until this day, when they were finally taken down 🎄➡️ marking the true end of the festive season.

A fantastic double celebration took place at our Ennistymon office last week as we marked two very special occasions. We were delighted to officially open our newly refurbished office on Monastery Lane while celebrating the retirement of 14 devoted Home Support Workers.

Their kindness, commitment and care made a real difference to the lives of the people they supported throughout their careers - and we also acknowledged those who were unable to attend.

Thank you to everyone who joined us on the day — it was a wonderful occasion. Special thanks to Derek Kinsella, Home Support Area Manager and Catherine Morgan, Scheduling Admin. Assistant for organising the event. Pictured cutting the ribbon is Monica Marrinan, our longest standing Home Support Worker with 41 years of service and dedication to Clarecare, along with Catriona Lavelle - CEO, Derek Kinsella , Catherine Morgan and Cathal O'Neill.

The Over 65s Club in Ennis truly partied in style at this year’s Christmas celebration! 🎄💃🕺

There was delicious food, great music, plenty of dancing, and the craic was mighty from start to finish.

A massive thank you to our amazing staff and volunteers who kept everything running smoothly on a very busy (but brilliant!) day 👏❤️ — and a special shout-out to Santa’s elves who worked nonstop behind the scenes 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️
