🌼✨Today we celebrated a truly special milestone — 30 years of dedicated service from our wonderful colleague, Dympna 💙. Her kindness, compassion, and steady presence have shaped our home for three decades, and the residents absolutely adore her. Their faces always light up when she arrives with her dog, Freddie 🐾 — he brings just as much joy as she does.

We marked the occasion with flowers 💐 and a beautiful cake 🎂, and the Board were proud to recognise Dympna’s exceptional commitment. On their behalf, she was presented with a gift voucher 🎁 as a token of appreciation for her loyalty, care, and the many years she has devoted to our community.

Dympna will be retiring at the end of April 📅, and we look forward to coming together again for a full celebration to honour her remarkable contribution.

Over the past two weeks, we’ve had a blast with various activities that brought joy and connection! Here’s a quick look:

• Book Reading: Participants enjoyed beautiful stories and images, sparking imagination.

• Chocolate Dipping: Everyone had fun dipping marshmallows in chocolate—delicious!

• Arts and Crafts: Creative hands made colorful decorations, adding cheer to our space.

• Pet Therapy: A sweet dog visit brought smiles and comfort to our residents.

• Play-Doh Fun: Molding and creating with Play-Doh encouraged creativity and laughter.

• Group Games: Tossing games fostered friendly competition and camaraderie.

• Social Gatherings: Shared conversations and laughter strengthened our community bonds.

• Plant Care: Watering plants added a touch of nature to our daily routine.

As we wrap up 2025, our residents and staff came together for a wonderful party! 🎉 It was so heartwarming to see all the smiles and happiness on their faces. We’re truly lucky to be part of their lives and to work in their home. A massive thank you to the entire team for putting in such incredible effort to make this celebration special. Your hard work really shines and makes a difference in our community. Here’s to more joyful moments in the new year!
