🌿 National Drugs Strategy 2026–2029 – Public Consultation Now Open
The Minister for Public Health, Wellbeing and the National Drugs Strategy has opened a public consultation on Ireland’s draft national drugs strategy.
The consultation welcomes views from people with lived or living experience of drug use, families, community groups, service providers, and anyone interested in health, wellbeing and drug policy.
The consultation is open for six weeks and will close on 10 April 2026.

The Department of Health is currently seeking input on the development of the new Healthy Ireland Framework — and they want to hear from communities, organisations, and networks across the country.

This is a key opportunity to help shape the future of health and wellbeing policy in Ireland, ensuring it reflects the needs and experiences of people nationwide.
