We’re halfway through our magical yin journey through Irish stories and stillness — a series of slow, soulful classes where ancient stories meet deep stillness.

🌿 Each week invites you into a tale — of transformation, courage, wisdom, or returning home — woven gently through grounding, opening yin poses and breath.

🌀 Join us for the rest of the series as we continue to explore how myth lives in the body and how stillness reveals our truth.

🌟 Self-Care for Educators Workshop 🌟

As someone who's been teaching for a couple of decades, I understand that teaching is a vocation of heart and soul—but it’s hard to pour from an empty cup. That's why I was so pleased to be invited as a guest lecturer to Mary Immaculate College this weekend, where I shared practical self-care strategies tailored for school staff with Master of Education students. Together, we explored ways to sustain our energy, nurture resilience, and support the incredible work we do for others.

Because when educators thrive, whole communities flourish. 💛

I don't know about you, but November can really burst my bubble! So I like to think about this transition from autumn to winter, with colder weather and shorter days, as a reminder to slow down and turn inward. Seasonal changes impact both body and mind, making it a perfect time to align with nature’s rhythm through yoga, mindfulness, and self-care.

Gentle, warming yoga poses like Cat-Cow, forward folds, and twists help keep the body supple and grounded. Heart openers and sun salutations lift energy, while longer yin poses cultivate calm and reflection. Breath practices, such as Ujjayi and Alternate Nostril Breathing, promote balance, while gratitude meditations foster positivity.

I’m absolutely delighted to have completed my 200-hour yoga, SEL, and mindfulness teacher training with Breathe for Change! 🎉 This isn’t my first training, but I chose to spend my summer doing this because I loved how this training was designed specifically for educators, using yoga as a key element of transformational leadership. 🙏🏻💫

Also, I loved how inclusive and flexible B4C were... even when I had to teach the live lesson assessments during my family holidays… from inside my campervan… in 30°C heat, without air on.. 😅 Yes, I am covered in sweat, teaching in my togs!
