Our paper on the development of the Informed Health Choice-Cancer (IHC-C) online learning resource is now published.
Β
We co-designed this online learning resource with people impacted by cancer to help them recognise unreliable claims and make informed choices. In our pilot, over 95% of participants rated it positively for alignment with learning outcomes, ease of understanding, relevance, and navigation.

πŸ§ πŸ’¬ Health information is everywhere β€” but not all of it is reliable.

πŸ”’ One in three cancer-related claims online can be misleading, making it difficult to know what information to trust.

πŸ’ If you’ve faced cancer or supported someone who has, you know how tough it can be to make informed choices.

πŸ”” We’re excited to test an online programme aimed at helping people understand health information. This might be helpful to you, it’s easy to access from home, and your experience could really help shape it for others in the future.
