Unpopular opinion šŸ‘‡

You’re not a ā€œbad sleeperā€ - you might just be breathing wrong at night.

Mouth breathing can lead to dry mouth, bad breath, and that frustrating feeling of waking up exhausted… even after a full night in bed.

Your body is built for nasal breathing during sleep. It helps you get deeper, more restorative rest so you actually wake up feeling refreshed.

Fix the breathing, change the sleep.

From ā€œI’ll try itā€ to can’t go without it šŸ’¬āœØ

Kristina’s been sleeping deeper, waking up properly refreshed, and even noticed her sinuses clearing - not something she expected, but definitely something she’s keeping šŸ¤

She loved it so much, she’s got her kids using it too šŸ‘€

look a little closer

most people think sleep starts when their head hits the pillow
but it actually starts with how you breathe

nasal breathing helps your body relax, recover, and stay in deeper sleep
and it’s something most people completely overlook

Dr. Tim Spector shares his experience with mouth taping as a simple way to encourage nasal breathing during sleep. By gently keeping the mouth closed, this practice helps reinforce breathing through the nose - which is linked to improved oxygen uptake, better sleep quality, reduced snoring, and overall respiratory health.

Nasal breathing plays a key role in filtering, humidifying, and optimizing airflow, making it a foundational habit for long-term wellbeing.

Most people think sleep is just ā€œon or offā€ 😓
But it actually happens in 3 distinct stages-and each one matters more than you think…

Stage 1: Light sleep
You’re drifting in and out, easy to wake. This is the transition from being awake to asleep.

Stage 2: Deeper sleep
Your body starts to slow down- heart rate drops, temperature falls, and you begin proper recovery.

Stage 3: Deep sleep
This is the most important stage. Your body repairs, your immune system strengthens, and your brain literally cleans itself 🧠✨

If you’re not getting enough deep sleep… you’re not fully recharging.

Bad sleep scores every morning.
Dry mouth. Low energy.

For me, it all came down to one thing - mouth breathing at night.

I tried fixing it with regular mouth tape…
but it felt restrictive, uncomfortable, and I couldn’t stick with it.

That’s the biggest problem with most mouth tapes.

MyoTape works differently.
Instead of blocking your mouth, it supports your lips -
so nasal breathing is encouraged, not forced.

That’s why I could finally keep it on all night.

Since switching, my sleep scores have gone from the 40s to the 90s,
no more dry mouth, and I wake up actually feeling rested.

Sometimes it’s not what you’re doing -
it’s how you’re doing it.

Your night routine matters more than you think…

Do Not Disturb: on
Self-care: on
Mouth breathing: off

The small habits you build before bed shape how you show up the next day - your energy, your focus, your mood.

It started with a simple experiment… but it changed everything.

Back in the late 1990s, Patrick McKeown was dealing with his own breathing issues.
Searching for answers, he began exploring nasal breathing - using techniques, nasal dilators, and even gently taping his mouth at night.

The first night? Nothing remarkable.
But the second night…

He woke up feeling better than he ever had before.

More energy.
Clearer focus.
A better mood.

That moment revealed something powerful:
šŸ‘‰ The way we breathe during sleep can completely transform how we feel the next day.

For over 20 years, Patrick has been helping people rediscover nasal breathing - and that journey led to the creation of MyoTape.

A simple, safe alternative to traditional mouth taping - designed to support natural breathing without covering the lips.

Because better breathing isn’t complicated…
but it can change everything.
