A roundup of some of my favourite 2025 projects!

Each of these clients came to me after they reached a moment where they realised their business had outgrown its old foundations. What worked before didn’t anymore and instead of patching things together or putting it off again, they decided to do it properly.

Every project was different, with clients working across totally different industries, some came to me without any website and some came to me with one they’d had done years ago but what they all had in common was this: they were ready to be seen as trustworthy, professional and with an online presence that reflected the high level they were already operating at.

I’ll never get tired of building brands that feel like a true reflection of the people behind them. I’m really grateful to the clients who trusted me with such an important part of their business this year. It’s never something I take lightly.

If you’re a service provider you need to hear this 👀I’m currently planning my 2026 wedding so I’m in full project manager mode organising everything. I reached out to a vendor I genuinely loved - great reviews, great energy, exactly the vibe we wanted. He confirmed our date was free and that he could do it so I was delighted.

But then nothing. No next steps, no contract, no deposit link, no way to secure the date. Just silence.

A few days later I followed up. He apologised, said he was “super busy” and would send everything that evening. He didn’t. Over a week passed, so I followed up again. This time he sent a random Google Sheet asking for all my wedding details but still didn’t explain how to book, pay the deposit or move forward. I filled it in, replied again asking how to secure the date and got no response.

At that point I wasn’t annoyed, I was unsure, nervous and had completely lost confidence. If he couldn’t manage the enquiry, how could I rely on him for the actual wedding?

So I reached out to another vendor and the difference was unbelievable. He replied instantly, explained everything clearly, sent a link to pay the deposit on the spot and followed up with me. He gave me everything I needed without me asking. He was more expensive but I booked him immediately because I trusted him.

There’s nothing wrong with DIY and it’s how most of us start. It’s scrappy, resourceful and gets you off the ground. But there’s a moment in every business where DIY stops being “good enough for now” and quietly starts costing you instead.

It costs you confidence when you’re embarrassed to send clients your website link. It costs you clarity when people can’t understand what you do or find what they are looking for in 10 seconds. It costs you clients when your online presence doesn’t reflect the level you’re actually operating at and they go somehwere else instead.

DIY is perfect in the beginning but once your business grows, your website needs to grow with it - in strategy, design, messaging and overall experience. Ever wonder how I stay organised and keep everything running smoothly while still delivering high-level results for my clients? ✨

Here’s a peek into my daily workflow and some of the tools I use:
☀️ Morning Planning: I start with a quick planning session with my Head Plan journal, coffee in hand, setting my priorities and mindset before diving in.
🗂 Task Management: ClickUp keeps me on track - I know exactly what needs attention, from client projects to internal tasks, nothing gets forgotten.
📩 Client Workflow: Dubsado handles onboarding, contracts, and invoices so nothing slips through the cracks and everything runs smoothly. I also have a private ClickUp client dashboard for every single client where progress is monitored, feedback is given and questions are answered.
🎨 Design & Creation: Canva helps me bring graphics and branding visuals to life for both me and my clients. It’s probably my most used tool!
💻 Website Work: Either WordPress or Showit (depending on the client needs) is where the magic happens. This is where I build, tweak, and optimise client websites to look polished and perform seamlessly.
⏱ Productivity Tip: I use the Pomodoro technique - 25 minutes of deep focus work, 5-minute short break and do this 4 times before taking a longer 25 minute break. This helps me to stay focused, productive and avoid burnout throughout the day. I use the Momentum Chrome Extension which has a Pomodoro timer built into it.
