The death has occurred of Haulie Browne , Windmill Road, Elphin, County Roscommon, and formerly Lisalway, Castlerea, County Roscommon, peacefully, in his 83rd year on 25th December 2025 at Sligo University Hospital.

Predeceased by his father Paddy, mother Molly (née Harrington), sisters Maura (Glynn) (Sydney) and Angela (Doran) (London).

Sadly missed by his nieces and nephew Jason (Australia), Angela (Australia). Patricia (London) and Selina (London), Hubert and Rosaire Taylor (who cared for Haulie the last few years), cousins, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Flanagans Funeral Home, Castleplunkett (Eircode F45 TK79) Tuesday 30th December from 5.00 pm until 7.00 pm.

Arriving for Funeral Mass in St. Paul's Church, Kilmurray at 12.00 pm on Wednesday 31st December.

Followed by burial afterwards in Toberelva cemetery, Castleplunkett.

The death has occurred of Mary Cribbin, Heathfield, Castleplunkett, Castlerea, County Roscommon (formerly Carrowcrin, Kilrooskey, Roscommon), peacefully, December 1st 2025 after a short illness.

Predeceased by her parents May & Harry Hughes.


Mary will be sadly missed by her loving husband Louis, adored children Kevin, Deirdre, Gráinne and Mark, daughters in law Keeva and Rebecca, sons in law Evan and Seán Óg, sisters Margaret (Carrowcrin) and Helen (Lecarrow), brothers Michael (Kilteevan) and Henry (Carrowcrin), uncle Phonsie O'Connor (Boyle), brothers-in-law, sisters- in-law, relatives, neighbours and the many great friends she met through life and work.

Beloved Nana to Abi, Aidan, Evan, Erin, Cora, Cillian and Hailey.

Mary will be reposing at Flanagans Funeral Home, Castleplunkett, on Thursday 4th December from 4-7pm.

Funeral Mass in Kilmurray Church at 12 noon on Friday 5th December.

Died 27th November 2025

The death has occurred of Maureen Flynn (née Britton), Carnaskeagh, Tulsk, Castlerea, County Roscommon, 27th November 2025, peacefully in the loving care of the staff of Drumderrig House Nursing Home, Boyle after a short illness in her 100th year.

Predeceased by her adoring husband John, sister Peggy, brother Pat and sister-in-law Nora.

Maureen will be fondly remembered by her daughter Christina (Campbell), son-in-law William, grandchildren Alan and Stacy, Stacy's husband Seán, niece, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

The death has occurred of Michael Keane, Turla, Ballymoe, County Galway, 26th September 2025, age 81 years, peacefully in the presence of his loving family and the caring nurses and staff at Roscommon Hospice.

Deeply regretted by his devoted heartbroken wife Eileen, son Karl (Swords), daughter Susan (Brandon) (Cloverhill), son-in-law John, daughter-in-law Lorraine, his beloved grandchildren Daniel and Lucas, sister Nora (Keane) (Kilkerrin), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Rita, and sisters Bernadette and Christine.

The death has occurred of Teresa Owens (née Brock), Kanesfield, Tulsk, Castlerea, County Roscommon, peacefully, 20th August 2025, with her loving family by her side and in the wonderful care of the staff of The
Plunkett Community Nursing Home, Boyle.

Predeceased by her husband Tommy, her brothers Tom and Jim, her sisters Marie, Nellie, Annie, Bridie and Winnie.

Teresa will be sadly missed by her daughters Mary (McCormack), Una (Heneghan) and Helen (Brady), her sons Gerry, Tommy, Jimmy and Larry, her 16 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Predeceased by his wife Katie, sons Gerry and baby Michael, and daughter-in-law Nuala.

Harrington (née Mitchell), Agnes, Cootehall, Co. Roscommon, formerly of Glencarne House, Ardcarne, Carrick on Shannon, County Roscommon and Ballyglass, Ballinagare, County Roscommon, peacefully on Tuesday 27th May surrounded by her loving family in the compassionate care of the staff of North West Hospice, Sligo.

Beloved wife of the late Pa, loving mother to Patricia, Kieran, Paul, and the late Dermot.

Agnes will be forever loved and very sadly missed by her children, son-in-law John (O'Toole), daughters-in-law Christine, Jennifer (Devlin) and Tish, sixteen grandchildren and their partners, nine great-grandchildren, brother-in-law John, nieces, nephews, extended family, treasured neighbours and friends in Ireland, UK, US and around the world.

loving care of St. Luke’s Hospice, Kenton, London.
