Happy international Women’s Day to all the extraordinary women in my life, my friends, sister, sister in laws, aunts, grandmothers, teachers, colleagues & every woman who has shaped who I am today.

Today I am especially thinking of my mum & mother in law. My mother in law Kathleen here in the photo on her 80th birthday with her son, my husband continues to show us that meaning and purpose have no age limits & growing older is a mindset.

Yo all the women who have shaped and supported me thank you & I strive to do the same 🙏 💝

When you receive a joyous moment tap it in.
Flowers bring me joy especially brightly coloured ones like these. There is a whole psychology around colour.
Colour psychology is the study of how colour effects our mood & behaviour and is used by marketing companies to entice us to choose their clients brands and products over another. Different colours are associated with certain moods and emotions. Cool colours can calm our nervous system us and bright colours can energise us 🌈

3 years of joy, fun and happiness. Having a pet is so good for our mental and physical health and they help regulate our nervous system. Pet therapy & co regulation.

Sadly they have a shorter lifespan than us humans so celebrate & cherish them when you can. Happy birthday Freddy Lynn who loves his doggy ice cream 🐶

25 years today we both said “I do”

Like every marriage or relationship it hasn’t always run smoothly, we have had our fair share of challenges but as a couple we are stronger together than as individuals. So far to our best ability we have kept to our marriage vows in good times and in bad in sickness and in health.

I really appreciate having a life partner to navigate and share this life journey with. Relationships take work and it’s important to try not and loose sight of each other especially in the rough times. ❤️

When life is too much and you start to feel overwhelmed. 😅

Break it down don’t build it up. Go for a walk, breathe in & out, clear your head and you will start to organise in your mind what is a priority, what can be pushed out until later, bite sized. 😌

Slowly you will start to feel calmer more in control of what has to happen next. 🙏
