Positive behaviour support (PBS) specialist available to provide support to individuals with a range of intellectual and neuro-developmental disabilities including Autism (ASD), OCD, ADHD, Downs Syndrome and other developmental disabilities. Extensive experience providing support to children, adolescents and adults using a positive, neuro-affirmative approach to improve quality of life and skill acquisition, and promote independence and inclusion. Individualised and person-centred programmes are designed and tailored for specific behavioural and sensory issues, and to develop important communication, social, and academic skills , self-regulation techniques and functional independent life skills. Assessments include functional behavioural assessments as well as individualised communication, language, academic and sensory assessments. Interventions involve creative and structured approaches to everyday behavioural issues and the need for further skill development across a range of life-skill domains.
