Friends, we have decided to stop running Citóg for the foreseeable future. It's been an amazing experience, and we both feel hugely grateful for the support we've received over the last seven years, but it feels like the right time to call it a day and move on to new projects.

From our early days in The Cellar Bar and De Burgos, to the last three years at the Roisin Dubh, it has been a privilege to host hundreds of passionate, talented and hardworking musicians from all over Ireland and to have contributed to Galway's thriving music scene. We are especially proud to have provided a regular platform for emerging music in this city and to have established a cooperatively run record label and collective, Citóg Records, which will continue to support local music and put on epic shows in the future.

Our thanks to everyone who has helped us, hosted us, played for us and showed up at our shows. It's been a beautiful and inspiring thing to be involved in and we've had some exceptionally good times.
