As our players get ready for tomorrow we want to wish manager Carl Donlon, coach Anthony Davoren, mentors Dermot Fenton, MJ Murphy, Hazel Collins, Patricia Grealish, Sarah Fox, Aoibhinn Fox, stats guru Dylan McLoughlin, physio Peter Forde and Pro AoIfe o Callaghan the best of luck in the game tomorrow. The amount of work that goes on in the background is not always seen but we appreciate it and it goes without saying that the club is indebted to you all.
Captain Mary Lardner and the players have put in the training and as a club we are really proud of every one of our senior players. It’s not easy for ourselves or any other club to train through the cold dark nights of the winter and curtailing and missing out on a lot of the Christmas and New Years activities that they would normally enjoy. We can’t wait to get started as a senior club in the not too distant future but for now we have the matter of an all Ireland semi final vs St Rynaghs of Offaly in Ballinasloe at 2pm tomorrow and we encourage all of our members, supporters, friends, family and underage players to dress in our red and white and create a wall of noise tomorrow. The squad would be delighted to see Carnmore relocated to ballinasloe for the game.
These girls and management have helped to put Carnmore on the map so let’s get out there tomorrow and show the world the Carnmore spirit we all know and love.
