Clinic Christmas Opening Hours ⛄️

The Clinic will be closed for Christmas from 24th December and will be open again on the 29th & 30th December before the New Year.
I will reopen for 2026 on Monday, 5th January 🎄

Please book in advance to avoid disappointment. I will be extending my opening hours this year, as I know from previous years that many people need to be seen.

Please book on time so you can enjoy a happy and peaceful Christmas & New Year 🙏🏻

UL is first Irish university to mandate cardiac screening for sports scholars.

The initiative, launched today, will protect the health and wellbeing of elite student athletes from Sudden Arrhythmic Death Syndrome, which can strike without warning or symptoms.

From Day One to Year Four : Thank You ✨️

This month marks four years since I opened my clinic as a Sports Therapist—and what a journey it's been.

Working with athletes, active individuals, and those recovering from injury has shown me that healing goes far beyond the physical. It's mental, emotional, and deeply personal.

I'm deeply grateful to every client who has entrusted me with their care, and to the mentors and colleagues who continue to inspire and challenge me to grow.

Tennis elbow and golfer's elbow have several key things in common:

1. Type of Injury

Both are forms of tendinitis (inflammation or degeneration of tendons).

2. Cause

Caused by overuse or repetitive stress on the forearm muscles and tendons.

3. Symptoms

Both cause elbow pain, especially during movement or gripping.

Pain can radiate down the forearm or into the wrist.

May lead to weakness in grip strength.

4. Mechanism

Both involve microscopic tears in tendon tissue due to repetitive motion or strain.

5. Treatment

Both are treated with:

Rest and ice

Physical therapy and stretching

Anti-inflammatory medications

Braces or straps

Injections or surgery (in severe cases)

6. Prevention

Proper technique during activities

Strengthening forearm muscles
