We had a busy week in Rushmore last week as we prepared for our Bealtaine Festival party last Friday.

We decided that one day was not enough to showcase the talents of our residents so we made it a week long event with residents singing and playing instruments, planting vegetables in our garden, baking, arts and crafts, playing games and we also had a mocktail event where residents could make up their own cocktails and decorate them the way they wanted, which our residents loved!

Our wonderful residents picked the theme of color and positively for our party and they really outdid themselves with amazing pieces of art which were on show all around our day room for the whole nursing home to enjoy.

The final week of the Croí Heart & Stroke Charity challenge has been completed!

The staff at Rushmore Nursing Home have raised an amazing €1035 and have walked 3338km beating our target of 2735km!

Thank you so much to everyone who donated its all for an amazing cause!

Congratulations and well done to all the staff who took part in this challenge and helped to fundraise.
