Sometimes it is easier not to walk in the rain on a cold February Saturday night,
with the fog covering your view and the rain hitting your face.
Dressed like a Walker or a burgler is unclear lol 😂
But getting out of the car with the wipers washing away the rain was hard!!

Oh maybe I will pop to the cinema instead,
It is raining ☔️ after all!!
Oh maybe I will go home and walk tomorrow,
It is raining ☔️ after all

How lucky am I to have a choice,
Then I am reminded not every woman has this choice to leave home and go for a walk
Not everywoman has a loving partner at home minding the kids

I get out of the car and walk 8km for all those who can’t
when you are doing anything for a greater good
It makes it easier not to quit,
Even if it is raining ☔️ after all.

I am now entering week 7 of .
Lessons so far
1. Just because you have massive motivation does not mean massive action or exercise.
2. Overdoing it led to two weeks of injury.
3. 2 weeks of injury lead me to yoga everyday trying to stretch out muscles, a nice injury benefit creating a daily 10 minute habit of yoga.
4. Sleep sleep sleep can't do all this on little sleep
5. Prep getting more organised for foods.
6. The most essential part of this journey meditation, relaxation, loving yourself for who and where you are right now.
7. Tracking and consistency - it doesn't happen if you don't!!
8. Your core is essential! Realise post babies my core never went back so with the help of Alison Hogan Pilates Athlone and her specialised Mamalates program I will be focusing on restoring me core in 21 days!
