Over the past few months I have spent time completing excellent Trauma Treatment Certification Training (CCTP): The Latest Advances and
Proven Techniques to Resolve Deeply Held Trauma via PESI

An excellent training which I highly recommend if you are a trauma therapist. A good refresher for my work with clients challenged by trauma, childhood sexual/physical/emotional abuse and su***de. Lots of new learning too.

Continuing professional development (CPD) is something I value deeply and engage in regularly. Ongoing CPD is also a part of my commitment to my practice and my membership of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy .ie I also facilitate CPD course for my peers (https://leomuckley.com/cpd and link in my bio).

My Letter to the Editor of the was published on October 24th expressing my fears for clients if CORU’s current attempt to regulate Psychotherapy and Counselling in Ireland progresses as is. Serendipitous timing as a letter from CORU’s CEO was also printed which is misleading and ignores the issues at hand being raised by myself and tens of thousands of therapists across the country, along with our professional representative bodies.
