Having appreciation for who you are, growing from actions that support your spiritual, physical & psychological growth.
It is taking care of your own needs & not sacrificing your well-being to please others.
Self-love can mean different things to different people.
It can be:
👍Talking to yourself in a kind & loving way
👍Being true to who you are
👍Forgiving yourself
👍Accepting who you are in this present moment & accepting your emotions for what they are.
Holding yourself in high esteem means it becomes easier to choose things that nuture your well-being & serves you well eg, eating healthy, exercising, meditating..
Self-care can help us become more calmer & positive, staying away from negativity. It can help us feel more confident in ourself & raise our self-esteem.
Self-care helps our nervous system relax, therefore feeling less stressed, anxious or angry.
A negative belief about self-love is that it can be selfish & self-serving. STOP!
