There is a lot of upset and anger, frustration and sadness these days. I have a daily rant about the government and the conspiracy theorists. It feels good to get heated about a topic but it feels better when I come down off my soap box. I do this by giving thanks for what is good in my life and in the world. Sometimes I do this with my mum and we play the alphabet game of being grateful. I’ll start with A and we take turns of going through each letter and naming what makes us happy and grateful. We both feel good after it and all the annoyance and frustration has dissipated.

No matter how little you do, it will help.
No matter how trivial you think it is, it will help.
A word, a gift, a call, a text, a hug or a gentle touch, it matters to someone. Be kind. Take the time to listen. Be the support they need. You never know when you could be the one needing the help!
