Did you know we start losing muscle after 30?

From our 30s onwards we naturally begin to lose small amounts of muscle each decade. This can affect strength, joint support, balance and even metabolism.

But here’s the important part — it’s not just about age, it’s about activity.

Muscle works on a simple rule:
Use it or lose it.

Strength training, regular movement, and good nutrition can slow muscle loss and even rebuild strength at any age.

Strong muscles help to:
✔ Protect your joints
✔ Prevent injuries
✔ Support healthy movement
✔ Keep you active for longer

Your future mobility is being built by the habits you have today.

Jim used to tell the story of the ant.

The ant never quits. If you try to stop it, it finds another way. It climbs over, goes around, goes under. And ants think winter all summer — they never get naive about the good times.

Most people aren't like the ant. Most people think summer will last forever. And when winter comes, they're caught off guard.

Adopt the philosophy of the ant. Learn more about the concept at www.jimrohn.com/wisdom/audio

How Reflexology Supports Your Digestive System 👣

Reflexology is a gentle, relaxing therapy that works through specific pressure points on the feet which correspond with different organs in the body, including the stomach, liver and intestines.

When these reflex points are stimulated, it helps encourage the body to switch into its natural “rest and digest” mode. This is important because stress and tension can slow down or upset digestion.

A reflexology treatment may help to:

• Encourage healthy digestion
• Reduce bloating and abdominal discomfort
• Support regular bowel movements
• Ease stress-related digestive symptoms
• Promote relaxation, which allows the digestive system to function more efficiently

Rather than forcing change, reflexology works by helping the body rebalance itself naturally. Many clients notice they feel lighter, more comfortable, and deeply relaxed after treatment.

Reflexology is not a replacement for medical care, but it can be a wonderful complementary therapy to support overall digestive wellbeing. 👣🦶🏻👣

🏃‍♂️ Best of luck to all my clients running the Milford Care Centre 10km tomorrow! 🏃‍♀️

The training is done, the hard work is in , now go enjoy the buzz, the crowds, and the finish line feeling!

Run smart, keep hydrated, and remember, if the legs start complaining, just tell them who’s in charge 😄

Proud of you all and cheering you on every step of the way for such a fantastic cause 👏

On 12 May 2026, reflexology research will be presented on a global scientific stage.

Dr. Stefan Posse, lead investigator of the Neural Pathways of Applied Reflexology study, has been invited to give an oral presentation of preliminary findings at the International Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine Annual Meeting & Exhibition in Cape Town - a conference attended by 6,000–8,000 neuroscientists and medical professionals from around the world.

For reflexology research, this represents an important step in visibility within the wider medical and neuroscience community.

The study has already completed three rounds of brain imaging and has attracted interest from reflexologists in 94 countries. Ongoing funding is in place to continue research with healthy participants at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, with plans to expand the work to include stroke patients at the University of Minnesota School of Medicine.

The research team includes Barbara Kunz, Kevin Kunz, Dr. Posse, Essa Yacoub, and Ann van de Winckel.

Those who wish to learn more about the research, or support its next phase, can find further details via the Neural Pathways of Applied Reflexology Fund at the University of New Mexico:
https://www.unmfund.org/fund/npar-fund/

This presentation marks an encouraging moment for reflexology research as it continues to be explored through rigorous scientific methods.
