An enthusiastic and committed qualified Sports Therapist with valuable experience gained by working with senior, intermediate and junior football and hurling teams in Galway.Also working with rugby teams and volunteering at numerous sporting events providing top quality sports therapeutic massages with a keen interest in educating people on overall health and wellness. Proven ability in providing accurate diagnosis and outstanding knowledge of advanced therapy techniques honed in a dynamic training environment. Treating players with injuries on a one to one basis, tailoring my techniques to suit all injuries and speed up recovery. I am qualified in advanced techniques such as Strain Counter Strain (SCS), Soft Tissue Release (STR), Muscle Energy Techniques (MET), Connective Tissue Manipulation (CTM), Injury Assessment and
Rehabilitation. To offer my clients a better treatment I have done additional courses in Kinesiology, Taping & Strapping, Pitch Side First Aid, Dry Needling and Core Assessment. I have gained experience working with both sporting & non sporting clients, whether you are injured from a sports related injury or from repetitive strain injury caused by your job. Actively volunteer at major sports events such as the World club sevens rugby tournament in Thomond park, Connemara Marathon, Great Limerick Run, Pig & Porter Tag Rugby event Limerick, the Galway Bay Half Marathon and The Malin to Mizen Charity Cycle.Working with such teams and volunteering at such events has greatly helped hone my Sports Therapist skills.
