Rainy day today in Johnstown - it’s the kind of day that makes us want to stay in, be sheltered and feel safe.

While taking my daughter to school today, there was a a tailback because the busses ahead of us on the roundabout for whatever reason were stopped. traffic was piling up - no one was moving. the frustration was mounting and impatience was growing and I stopped myself and thought - how can I create this time to be more enjoyable? so I turned to herself and said “hooray! we get extra time together this morning that we didn’t expect.“ she went on to share a memory with me that she had from when she was still in her buggy. how sweet is that????
