Hello lovely people. Seeing as I've been getting quite a lot of appointment requests through this page, I thought it was about time I updated some information and ya know....actually posted on here! I stepped away from social media quite a while ago and honestly it's been very beneficial for my mental and physical health. If you're new to this page you may not know of my own ongoing quest for good health and well being so I'll give ye all a wee update on how I've been getting on over this very long winter. Early winter was very hard. I had the worst flare up of my Crohns and RA in 9 years and was out of action for about a month. I went into radical self care mode and with amazing support from my husband managed to pull myself out of it thankfully. I had started implementing a fasting regime prior to the flare and I continued this in earnest as since January I now fast 3 days a week,just having water and herbal tea. The change in my bowel since implementing this has been huge. And a month ago I also gave up sugar completely except for a couple of pieces of fruit on my non fasting days. My energy has dramatically increased in the last two weeks in particular as has my overall sense of well being. With this elusive spring it's been important to keep up the vitamin C, D3 and after a diagnosis of anemia earlier in the winter, I've been taking colloidal iron too. Looking forward to ushering in the Summer as Bealtaine approaches. Praying for sunshine blessings for the land and all who live and grow upon Her. Beannachtai mo chairde.
