We’re sharing information from Mya Mulhern, an undergraduate Psychology student at Carlow College, St. Patrick’s, who is completing her final year dissertation.
Mya is conducting a research study exploring stress levels experienced by parents or primary caregivers of children with additional needs in Ireland. The aim of the research is to better understand what contributes to parental stress, along with the coping strategies and supports that parents use.
Participation involves completing a 10-minute anonymous online questionnaire, which includes general demographic questions and standardised wellbeing measures relating to stress, resilience, and life satisfaction.
Please note:
• Participation is entirely voluntary
• All responses are anonymous and confidential
• Data is stored securely in line with GDPR and college regulations
• Once submitted, responses cannot be withdrawn due to anonymity
• Findings will be reported only in summary, anonymous form for academic purposes
