If your skin feels constantly red lately, But has never before I want you to pause before blaming “sensitive skin.”

Redness is usually a sign of inflammation.

And inflammation often links back to over-exfoliating, layering too many actives, disrupted pH, stress, or hormonal changes.

Your skin isn’t being difficult.
It’s irritated.

When your acid mantle is compromised, your skin struggles to regulate itself. That’s when redness lingers instead of settling.

Calming the barrier is often more powerful than covering the redness.

If this sounds like your skin right now, comment RESET and I’ll send you the details to book your barrier-rebuilding facial.

And tell me in the comments —
is your redness constant, or does it flare up in waves? 👇🏼

Not every trend on social media is right for your skin. What works for one person can completely disrupt someone else’s barrier.

When your skin feels tight, irritated, reactive, or constantly changing… it’s often a sign your skin barrier needs support, not more products.

Healthy skin isn’t about doing more.
It’s about doing the right things for your skin.

That’s where professional guidance makes the difference.

✨ Let’s focus on skin health, not trends.

Comment RESET if your skin feels out of balance and I’ll send you the link to book a consultation.

Good skin is built over months.
Not one facial.

I know a lot of people hope that one treatment will completely change their skin. And while a facial can absolutely make your skin feel calmer, more hydrated and refreshed, real skin health takes time.

Your skin renews itself slowly. It takes around 4–6 weeks for one full skin cycle, and when we’re working on things like inflammation, barrier damage, congestion or dullness, it can take a few cycles for the skin to properly rebalance.

That’s why in the treatment room I focus on working with the skin, not forcing it. Each facial builds on the last one, supporting your acid mantle, calming inflammation and helping your skin function the way it should.

Over time, that’s when clients start to notice the real changes — skin looking brighter, feeling stronger and reacting less.

If you’re in Naas and you’re ready to take a more consistent approach to your skin, you can book a consultation through the link in my bio and we can talk through what your skin actually needs.

Because good skin isn’t rushed.
It’s built, step by step.

That “glass-smooth holiday wax” everyone imagines?

It’s rarely from one appointment.

First leg wax =
• Strong hair
• Dry skin
• A little snappage
• Slight patchy roughness in places

Completely normal.

Silky smooth comes from 2–3 consistent waxes.
That’s when the regrowth softens and the finish changes.

If your holiday is coming up and this is your first wax:

✔ Moisturise with E45 for at least 3 days before
✔ Exfoliate before you come in
✔ Don’t apply moisturiser right before your appointment (too slippy)

Smooth skin is built.
Not rushed.

Comment SMOOTH and we’ll send you the booking link.

If your skincare stings when you apply it, I want you to know…

That isn’t always a good sign.

Stinging usually means your barrier is weakened and your pH is disrupted. Your skin is inflamed and more vulnerable than it should be.

Healthy skin shouldn’t burn when you put products on it.

If this is happening to you, comment RESET and I’ll send you the details of how we rebuild the acid mantle properly.

A “holiday wax” isn’t a strategy.
It’s damage control.

Waxing works because we remove the hair from the root repeatedly.
When you wax consistently (at least 3 cycles, no shaving in between), the follicle weakens.

Less blood supply.
Less nutrients.
Finer regrowth.
Longer gaps between appointments.

That’s not a sales tactic.
That’s skin physiology.

If you start now instead of 2 weeks before your holiday, you could be looking at 6 weeks of smooth skin instead of hoping 4 weeks stretches.

Your summer smoothness is built Now.

Over-Exfoliating

If you’re exfoliating every week because you think you should… pause for a second.

Most women I see are exfoliating far too often.

When you remove too much, too frequently, your skin becomes thin, reactive and inflamed. It might look shiny
but that’s not glow. That’s irritation.

Exfoliation should support your skin, not stress it.

If you’re not sure how often your skin actually needs it, DM me.

Your skin doesn’t glow because of highlighter or filters… it glows when it’s balanced and protected.

The acid mantle is your skin’s natural shield. When it’s healthy, your skin holds moisture better, feels calmer, and has that natural brightness everyone is chasing.

But when it’s disrupted, skin can start to feel tight, irritated, dull, or reactive.

Healthy skin isn’t about doing more — it’s about supporting what your skin is already trying to do.

If your skin hasn’t been feeling like itself lately, it might be time to reset.

Adult Breakouts (30+)

If you’re in your 30s or 40s and still breaking out, I want you to know something…

You didn’t suddenly forget how to wash your face.

Most adult breakouts I see are the margerty of the time linked to stress, hormones, over-exfoliating, or layering too many active ingredients. Not poor hygiene.

When your barrier is compromised, inflammation shows up fast, and it often looks like acne.

Your skin isn’t embarrassing. It’s overwhelmed.

If this sounds like you, comment RESET and I’ll send you the details of the facial that focuses on calming and rebuilding

Not attacking.

It’s Not a Skin Problem. It’s a Barrier Problem.

Do you suffer with tight, irritated skin?

It’s usually not a “bad skin” issue.
It’s a skin barrier issue.

When your acid mantle is out of balance, everything starts to spiral.

You produce too much oil and not enough of what actually keeps your skin slightly acidic and protected.
Your skin becomes more alkaline.
It can’t hold onto moisture properly.
And when that happens?

You become more vulnerable to bacteria.
Which can trigger acne.
Redness.
Sensitivity.
Inflammation.
Even increased sun damage over time.

And no — it’s not always because you’re doing something wrong.

Sometimes it’s overusing actives.
Retinol + vitamin C + glycolic acid all layered together.
Sometimes it’s hormones.
Stress.
Post-pregnancy shifts (I’ve been there after having my two kids).
Sometimes it’s just life.

Most people don’t need stronger products.
They need their barrier repaired.

If your skin feels tight after cleansing, stings when you apply products, or reacts to everything — this is your sign.

Comment RESET and I’ll send you the booking link.

Or if you’re ready now, book your Sculpt & Soothe Facial via the link in bio and let’s bring your skin back into balance properly.
