As Christmas approaches and the year begins to gently wind down, I wanted to take a moment to say a very heartfelt thank you to all my beautiful clients.

To every client who has supported my small one-woman Irish business, your trust, kindness and support means the world to me.

I feel so grateful and privileged to be trusted to be part of your healing journeys. It’s something I never take lightly, and I’m truly honoured to do this work.

Thank you for choosing me, for supporting local, and for allowing me to do what I love every day.

The clinic will be back open to welcome you all from January 6th.

I wish you the happiest and most peaceful Christmas, and a New Year filled with health, healing, happiness, and abundance.

☀️ Is your Vitamin D where it should be?
In Ireland, with our long winters and unpredictable sunshine, many of us simply don’t get enough natural Vitamin D. It’s no surprise that low levels are super common!

💛 Why Vitamin D matters:
Vitamin D supports your immune system, keeps your bones strong, helps maintain mood and energy, and plays a key role in overall wellbeing. When levels are optimal, you genuinely feel the difference.

🔍 Signs your Vitamin D might be low:
• Low mood or feeling “flat”
• Tiredness or sluggishness
• Achy muscles or joints
• Frequent colds/low immunity
• Trouble concentrating

If any of this feels familiar, it might be worth checking your levels.

💡The good news?
You can now test your Vitamin D levels easily from home!
A simple finger prick home test gives you clear insight into where your levels are.

Take the guesswork out of your wellbeing. Reach out to get your Vit D home test. ☀️

🌿 GENTLE DETOX AT HOME 🌿
In today’s world, we come into contact with toxins every single day — through our food, water, air, cosmetics and even cleaning products. It’s no wonder our bodies can sometimes feel sluggish, bloated, or just off. That’s where gentle daily detox support can make all the difference 💧✨

Here are simple ways to help your body naturally detox at home (no extreme juice cleanses needed!):

✅ Stay hydrated – aim for 1.5–2L of filtered water a day (add lemon or a pinch of sea salt for a mineral boost!)
✅ Eat your greens – broccoli, kale, rocket, and dandelion leaves support your liver
✅ Get moving – walking, rebounding or sweating in a sauna helps move lymph & toxins
✅ Support your gut – fibre, flaxseeds & fermented foods help clear waste
✅ Key nutrients – magnesium, B vitamins, zinc, milk thistle, NAC & glutathione
✅ Dry brushing – boosts circulation & lymph flow before your morning shower

Here in Ireland, even a breezy sea walk or a warm bath with Epsom salts can be a nourishing way to support detox pathways naturally 🌊🛁

Start small, stay consistent — your body is always working for you 💚

I’m see a lot of clients struggle with high histamine this time of year. Are you struggling with histamine issues? Here’s what you need to know!

Your body naturally produces histamine and the DAO enzyme (diamine oxidase) which breaks down excess histamine in the gut.
But when histamine builds up or you aren’t producing enough DAO, it can cause a storm of symptoms. ⚡

🔍 Common Symptoms of High Histamine:
• Headaches or migraines
• Hives, itching, or rashes
• Runny nose or sneezing
• Bloating & digestive issues
• Fatigue or brain fog
• Flushing or rapid heartbeat

❗ What Causes High Histamine?
• Poor digestion, Gut dysbiosis or leaky gut
• DAO enzyme deficiency
• Poor methylation
• Chronic inflammation or stress
• Hormonal imbalances
• Histamine-rich diet

🧀 High-Histamine Foods to Watch Out For:
• Fermented foods (sauerkraut, kombucha)
• Aged cheese
• Wine, beer, and vinegar
• Smoked or leftover meats
• Tomatoes, spinach, and avocados
• Shellfish and canned fish
• Chocolate 🍫

🔥 Biggest Aggravators & Triggers:
• Alcohol
• Stress & lack of sleep
• Heat or intense exercise
• Estrogen dominance (PMS, pregnancy, HRT)
• Gut infections (SIBO, H. pylori)
• Environmental toxins or mold

🌿 Nutrients That Support Histamine Breakdown:
• Vitamin C – lowers histamine levels in the blood
• Quercetin – reduces histamine release
• Vitamin B6 – supports DAO enzyme
• Magnesium – supports methylation
• Zinc – essential for DAO production

💡 Start supporting your body instead of fighting symptoms. Know your triggers, nourish your gut, and use food as your ally.

Candida often referred to as candidiasis, is a type of yeast that naturally lives in your body in small amounts. But when it overgrows, it can affect various systems and trigger a range of symptoms that often go unnoticed or misdiagnosed.

Left unchecked, Candida can impact your gut health, immune function, and even your mood.

✅ Good news: With the right diet, lifestyle changes, and nutritient support, it can be managed.

Have you experienced any of these symptoms?
Book a BioKinesiology session to get tested for Candida overgrowth and many other toxins! 🌿
