About Balance

About Us....We are David Gutierrez and Yvonne Craddock and live in Thomastown Co Kilkenny. The work we do, like our name, is all About Balance.

Hi, I´m David and I come from Aragon in Spain. I have been working for many years both in the UK and Spain as a teacher of the Alexander Technique which is my passion. My original training was in Theatre and Performing Arts and I worked for many years in Spain as an actor. Problems I experienced with over tightening and using excess force during that time led me to my interest in the Alexander Technique. I am a member of ISATT (Irish Society of Alexander Technique Teachers) and currently run my practice in John Street, Kilkenny and from my home in Thomastown, Co Kilkenny. Hi, Im Yvonne and originate from our Green Isles. David and I met in London some moons ago while training as Alexander Technique Teachers and have worked alongside each other since that time. My interest in the Alexander Technique and the ways of the human body stemmed from physical pain and stress that I experienced working as a consultant in a busy London office. That journey of exploration is ongoing…During my time spent in Spain I qualified as an Acupuncturist and TCM practitioner and I am a member of AFPA (Acupuncture Foundation Professional Association) Ireland I currently run my Acupuncture practice in John Street, Kilkenny

Our interest in all things related to the human body and psycho physical harmony led us to train as Tai Chi and Qi Gong instructors with a focus on the healing aspects of both. We enjoyed our training immensely and can now share that with others in our teaching.

There are a couple of places left for beginners class in the Watershed Kilkenny wednesdays at 7pm and also a beginners class at the Wellwood Centre tuesdays at 7.00pm.
