🧡Involvement Centre Kilkenny is looking for Meet and Great Volunteers.

🤝Involvement Centres are peer led spaces where mental health challenges are seen as part and parcel of everyday life.
Anyone is welcome to drop in for a chat and cup of tea in a very relaxed and supportive atmosphere.

✨Volunteers will support visitors to the centre with a welcoming smile and the offer of a cup of tea, creating a safe space and making them feel at ease, offering tea, asking people how they are, showing interest in visitors and a warm welcome is what’s most important as a volunteer☕🏠

Using your own unique personality, kindness, respect, and a non-judgmental attitude towards others are important skills needed for the role🌈

🫶Your own story of recovery and self-care can be a very useful way of encouraging and promoting a recovery focused environment.

👥Volunteers will not work alone and will always work with experienced members of the Involvement Centre Team.
