Heres a great general overview for the prevention and management of Achilles Tendon injury. A very common injury particularly in runners who have a 30 times greater risk of tendonopathy than sedentary individuals.

The aim of the clinic is to provide:
Diagnosis, Management and Rehabilitation of Sports and Musculoskeletal injuries.

Rapid Access to Diagnostic investigation and therapeutic procedures.( Eg. MRI,XR,Blood tests,Nerve conduction studies).
Early appropriate referral.

This clinic is complimentary to the physiotherapy and exercise physiology services already available at the Mardyke Arena.
