I am a fully qualified Reiki Master with Reiki level 1,2 & 3, Kundalini Reiki and Scheicm & have qualified in ITEC Holistic Massage Therapy. Reiki is a Japense word meaning "Universal Life Energy" (Rei meaning Universal and Ki meaning the vital life force) - it is an ancient tradition of healing by the laying on of hands. Reiki activates & accelertes the body's own ability to heal itself. Reiki is a safe relaxing non-manipulative energy which is highly effective in the area of personal growth, like everything else around us the energy adjusts itself to the needs of the recipient which helps to achieve a state of health and wholeness. Someone asked me at the weekend if doing healings takes a lot out of me, the simple answer is no.

It doesn’t drain me because it isn’t my energy that’s doing the healing. I’m not the source. The healing comes from above — from God — and I simply allow it to flow through me to the person who needs it.

I see myself as a vessel. A channel. The energy isn’t mine to give, so there’s nothing for me to lose. It passes through me, guided by something greater, and goes exactly where it’s needed.

That’s why it doesn’t deplete me — it’s not coming from me. I’m just here to serve as the bridge.
