🕊 Rest in Peace Margaret Durkan 🕊
Peacefully on 31st January 2026, in the care of the wonderful staff at An Coillin, Castlebar, and in the company of her loving family. Margaret will be reunited with her beloved parents Anthony and Mary, her brothers Joe, Paddy, Tony, Louis, Andy, Martin and Peter, her sisters Mary, Bridie, Ann, Lena and Teresa.
Deeply missed, but never forgotten, by her sisters Agnes, (Dublin) Ethna (Ballindine) and Carmel (Kilmaine) and her brother Chris (U.K). sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

🕊 Rest in Peace James Macken 🕊
James passed away peacefully at University Hospital Galway, on 14th January 2026 in his 99th year.
Predeceased by his parents, Patrick & Mary-Ann Macken, brothers, Padraic (USA), John Joe, (Doorath) and May Walsh (Claran).
Deeply regretted by his loving wife Carmel, much loved father of Maria (Joyce), Joan (Twomey), Kevin, Aidan, Fiona (Van Der Werf), Dermot, Orla (McCormack), and Alan, his brother Thomas (USA). His daughters-in-law Mary, Rosemary, Laura and Sheila, sons-in-law Peter, David, Joris and Seán, and his 25 adored grandchildren, niece, nephew, relatives, neighbours and friends.

🕊 Rest in Peace Babe Macken 🕊
Babe passed away peacefully in the recent care of the wonderful staff of Mayo Hospice, Castlebar, on 19th December 2025, in the company of her loving family.
A long life which was well lived, Babe is predeceased by her husband Davy, her infant son, John, her sisters, Mary and Nora, her brothers John and more recently Pake, her brother-in-law, Frank.
Most beloved mother of Maureen Corr (Kilkenny), Anne Walsh (Claregalway), Deirdre Coleman (Straide/Foxford).
Sadly missed, but will always be remembered with love by her daughters, sons-in-law Brendan, Paul and Pat; her adored and loving grandchildren, Shane, Eimear, Ruth, Claire, Emily, Ella and Hazel; her sisters-in-law, Anne Heneghan, Maureen Doyle, and Siobhán O'Hare, nephews, nieces and all other relatives, her many wonderful friends, neighbours and all those who loved and had fun with Babe.

The sudden but peaceful death has taken place of Maureen Hughes - nee Conroy, Ballinacarra, Kilmaine, in the wonderful care of the staff at The Mayo Hospice, Castlebar, Co., Mayo, following a short illness.
Maureen will be dearly missed by her lovingly devoted husband, Tom, her cherished, now heartbroken son, Declan and daughter-in-law, Cara and her adored grandchildren, Alanna and Chloe.
Most sorrowfully missed but will be forever remembered with love, by her broken hearted parents, Francis and Mary Conroy, her brothers, Padraic (Josephine) and Martin, her sister Evelyn, (deceased husband Richard Finnerty -Ballintubber) nieces, Sinead and Siobhan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, all of the extended Hughes and Conroy families, and her great friends, neighbours and all those who knew Maureen.

Margaret passed away peacefully in the exceptional care of the kind staff of Mayo Hospice, Castlebar, on Mon, Nov 3rd 2025 in the company of her beloved family, after a courageous journey with illness.
Predeceased by her beloved husband, John, her parents, Richard and Elizabeth Kelly, her sisters, Kitty, Mary and Frances and her brother, Martin.
Most sorrowfully missed by her daughter, Lynda, son Martin, her son-in-law, Eddie Murphy, her daughter-in-law, Olivia, her adored and adoring grandchildren, Nicole, Edel and Luke.
Margaret will remembered, by her brother, Richard (Dublin), her sister, Teresa (Queensland), her sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces and all other relatives, great friends and neighbours.

Reposing at the family home (F31 EK15) on Tuesday evening - September 23rd, from 4 p.m. until 7.
Funeral cortege will arrive at St., John's Church, The Neale (F31 D620) for Mass of The Resurrection at 12 o'clock on Wednesday, with funeral then proceeding to Shannon Crematorium (V14 PV30) for service at 4 o'clock.

Who passed suddenly at her residence on 25/06/2025

Predeceased by her parents, Tom and Bridie and her sister-in-law Teresa.

Teresa passed away peacefully at Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar, in the company of her loving family.
Predeceased by her parents Bridget and Andrew Slattery, her husband Paddy, her son Patrick, and all her brothers and sisters.
Teresa will be deeply missed by her nieces and nephews, The Commins family, Michael (Roundfort), P.J (Killeenrevagh) & Marie (U.K), The Laffey family, James (Foxford), Mary (Foxford) and Bridget (U.K) her nieces- in-law Christina and Laura Commins, grandnieces & grandnephews, all other relatives, friends and neighbours.

John passed away unexpectedly at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his parents, Martin & Nora and his brothers Martin & Paddy.
