Due to the red warning on Friday morning, and for the safety of staff and customers, we will not be opening on Friday until at least 11.00am. Opening may be further delayed depending on conditions. Customers are advised to pick up medicines today or tomorrow if they are due before Friday. For medicines requiring special orders, please contact us today (Wednesday) as anything ordered later may not be delivered to us until next week. Stay safe. Ted.

Opening hours of Moloney’s pharmacy and other local pharmacies over the Christmas period.

Please note - on Christmas Day Allcare Pharmacy Wilton (near CUH) is open 11-1 for emergency prescriptions only (those written in the previous 24hours) and will not be able to answer phone calls as it is usually very busy.

COVID AND FLU VACCINE registration is now open.

Covid boosters are recommended for those over 60, those with high risk medical conditions, pregnant women and health care workers. Others may also be eligible.

Flu vaccination is recommended for those over 60, those over 2 and under 18 years, those at medical risk and their household contacts and certain other categories of patients and carers. These can receive the flu vaccine free of charge. Patients outside these at risk groups can also get a flu vaccine, and a charge will apply.
Children between 2 and under 18 will be offered the nasal flu vaccine (no injection).

After a long two years providing covid vaccines for the community of Kinsale, we are taking a break for the summer. Registrations will recommence in the Autumn for the seasonal Covid / Flu vaccination campaign. Thank you. Ted.
