Ever felt nervous in the deep end? 😅
Ever wished you could feel calm and confident in the water?
Or maybe you just would love to learn how to swim.

Even though I’m a pretty good swimmer being out of my depth would make me panic. I would feel it in my chest , it would make me freeze up and I’d lose my breath.

I used Belief Coding®️ to get to the root cause of my fear and clear it.

And today… I went to Finn Vally pool (1.8 meters deep) and by the end, I was diving to the bottom and swimming along it.

No panic.
No fear.
Just freedom. 😮

It felt bloody amazing 🤩 and to be honest I m still in shock at how easy it was.

Fear doesn’t have to stop you from doing the things you want .

I’m not an athlete, I don’t compete.

I just wanted to find out for fun how Belief Coding® could help me improve my running and swimming.

This morning I took 2 minutes off my usual swimming time, and it honestly felt so much easier.

One of the new beliefs I’ve coded in is that I am strong, I am focused, I am motivated, and I am determined and that I achieve my goals.

After my session yesterday, I could already feel those beliefs starting to show up more focus, more calm, and just feeling more in flow.

I actually did it 🙌✨my first 10K in years!

I’ve just finished my first 10K run in a very very very long time.
I ran it in an hour and ten minutes, and honestly, I’m still in shock.

I’ve been using the Nike app for four weeks now , three runs in the first week, then twice a week after that. The longest I’d done before today was 6K.
I’ve been swimming three times a week too, which I’m sure has helped my lungs.

But the real game-changer was also doing work on my beliefs. 💭

Yesterday I had half a Belief Coding® session with Dave Morgan. (We were short for time )

The belief that came up was “I’m not a runner.”
At the start that felt like a 10 out of 10 truth.
By the end of the session, it was down to a 2.

We didn’t even finish the full session, but something shifted.

So today wasn’t about how fast I went or how long it took.
It was about setting a goal🎯 and just seeing if I could do it.

When my head started with the usual “you can’t do this” thoughts, I pictured myself at the end, sending Dave a message saying, “I did it.”
That kept me going.

And I did it.🙌🎉

When I finished, I didn’t feel sore or tired. I just felt proud.
It really hit me how much of running is about mindset , that voice in your head and how you handle it.

Running has become a tool for my mental health 🧠♥️

it helps me coach myself, stay focused, and move those emotions that would normally keep me stuck.

If I’d needed to walk, I would’ve walked.
If it had taken me two hours, I still would’ve done it.
Because the goal wasn’t to be fast , it was to finish.🏁🙌

So if you’ve been doubting yourself, thinking you can’t do something, here’s your reminder:

You can.💪

You just need to start and keep going, even when your head tries to talk you out of it.

Now I’m sitting here in my car with my banana pancakes😂, feeling calm, proud, and so grateful I did it.

So proud I showed up for me 😁
