Its really hard for young kids to know when their blood sugar levels are going too low. . hes a brave little man and his dog fighting Diabetes together :)
Ok, so my older boys wanted to give this a shot. Maybe we can spread a little awareness about Type 1, invisible disorders and what these wonderful dogs can do. Currently there is NO cure or way to prevent it. Type 1 is NOT caused by poor diet or lack of exercise, it is actually an auto-immune disease. Luke's pancreas produces NO insulin and insulin is needed to survive. Share your stories. Tell everyone how serious it can be, how insulin is life support, but most of all tell the world how strong you are, your child is, your best friend is... Let's stick together and tell the world why we need a CURE. Luke was diagnosed at two years old, he is my hero, and Jedi is his, we do this to spread awareness.
So please Like, share, tag.. whatever you want, you know the drill :) If a little girl can get a million likes to go to Disneyland maybe we can get a few likes as well to show support for the kids and adults living with this disease.
