CI Tobar have been taking part in a 5-week Official Donegal GAA training pilot programme, culminating in a training session at the Donegal Centre of Excellence in Convoy.

We would like to thank Manus Friel (Coach Education Coordinator for Donegal GAA) for coming up with this new initiative. A special thank you to all the coaches that helped deliver the programme and Connor O'Donnel for attending the final day. We would also like to thank the committee members; Michael Friel for his contribution and completing one of his goals, Aishling Rodgers as part of her placement project, and Éamonn McGinley and Anne Harkin.

We would also like to thank Hughie Harkin for sponsoring the rent of the hall in Cnoc Fola, representatives from the Gweedore Ladies GAA club for coming along and supporting the programme.

Here's to many more.

On April 2nd, service users from Donegal Town, Ballybofey and CI Verve took a tour of the Donegal County Library in Letterkenny.
They got a chance to check out the new Library Communication Board. Thirteen large Communication Boards have now been installed in all libraries county-wide and are designed to support non-verbal communication, early language development, and allow easier communication with staff and others in the library.
Thank you to the staff at the Letterkenny library for showing us around and we will be sure to be back for a visit.

Today's CI Radio is a special solo episode featuring the wonderful Emma. Hosting her own episode was one of her goals and so today she treated us to a Beach Boys special. They are one of her favourite bands and she loves to sing their songs. Excellent job Emma and happy Friday everyone.
