Athens - WOW! I've nothing but gratitude for everyone at the ICR for organising such an incredible event. I'm literally blown away! To be in room filled with like-minded people from every corner of the globe is so nourishing for the soul ✨️ Ah I could gush all day! 🥹

I've learned SO much and have truly met some of the nicest, funniest, and most charismatic people - friendships I know I'll carry for life 🥰 What a gorgeous city that radiates with life & vibrancy! And thank you to all the patient Greek waiters/tresses that bent over backwards to keep me fed & happy 😅 Your hospitality is second to none. 💚💚💚 Until we meet again. 🇬🇷

This is little Hisham. He is only 3 years old and for so much of his life all he has known is fear, hunger, threat & uncertainty.
I've been speaking to his mum Hanin who has shared their story with me. Like countless others in Palestine they have lost everything. Their home, their safety, and all hopes they had for the future this family was building together.

Before this relentless & barbaric seige on Gaza, Hanin had graduated with a maths degree in the hopes to establish a private tutoring centre, her husband is an accountant. They worked hard to build a life together with a hopeful future.. the way we all do!

Now that is gone. They are now totally reliant on donations to access limited food supplies and pay to share a room in Deir Al-Balah, an area that is under constant airstrikes. Hisham has already been injured by flying shrapnel and there is nowhere safe for him to play or have fun like any 3 year old deserves to do 💔

With aid being blocked, available food is scarce & at extortionate prices. Every donation will make an unbelievable difference to this family. Even the price of a coffee is nothing to us, but could mean everything to them.
