Presentation of the cheque to Angle day care centre, and patient comfort fund dungloe hospital, both recipients received 650 euro. A huge thank you to all the anglers who took part on the day and to everyone who supported the event with prizes and cash donations, to the committee for their ongoing work in organising such events, to the Bridge Inn for the use of the premises and for a wonderful spread of food, special word of thanks to Malachy for collecting all the prizes, to all the sponsors we thank you for your continued support, I will post a list of sponsors later.

good luck to everyone fishing our charity competition today out on the wild mountain lakes, please don't fish alone as some of the lake's are in flood and can be very dangerous, see you all at the Bridge Inn main street dungloe for some food and presentation, tight lines and be safe.

4 Man Team Competition.
This competition will be held on Dungloe and Tully lakes on Saturday 11th October registration at Tully boathouse from 9am, entry fee 160 euro per team, we will be using the measure and photograph option for this competition , 6 fish per boat, 20cm minimum lenth, results and prize giving along with some tasty bites will be in Ownie's Bar, hopefully followed by a pint of Guinness and a bit of craic to end the season for another year. competition almost full

The Rosses Anglers Association would like to invite all our fellow members and friends to our 60th Anniversary pairs competition which will be held on Mullaghderg and Dungloe lake on Saturday 6th September fishing 12-6 all fish will be measured and photograph ed before being returned, entry fee 50 euro per angler, cash prizes plus crystal for winners, hope to see you all on the day, entries must be in by 4th September to allow for moving boat's.
