✨Women Supporting Women✨

The Grow & Glow Event was always about supporting and uplifting women. It was essential we found a Charity Partner that did the same in our community.

With the support from our very generous attendees and beautiful prizes and services from local businesses, we were able to raise € 1005 for Adapt Limerick.

They help support 1300 women and 400 children per year who are victims of domestic abuse and coercive control. We hope this money will help provide essential services and support to families who need a hand in restarting and reshaping their lives.

✨Boost Your Confidence✨ Live Stage Demo with Dr Mai.

I covered many topics during the Grow & Glow Event this past weekend, but one of the topics I really wanted to discuss was the demystification of Dermal Filler. Because dermal filler procedures are unregulated, anyone with hands and an online certificate can inject it. This has created fear in the general public, with the fear of looking too obvious or overdone.

I had a call-out for brave models and was brave to put up her hand. Out of the many volunteers I had, I knew Sheila deserved a special treat to boost her confidence. Being a full time carer for her father, a mum, and a wife, she felt it was time to prioritise herself.

After a detailed consultation online and in-person, I was able to do a mid face rejuvenation on Sheila on stage in front of a full audience. We could see before our eyes the dramatic yet subtle difference it made in freshening her appearance. She was smiling ear to ear for the rest of the afternoon.

Polynucleotides have become a very popular treatment in recent years due to the change in focus to preventative and regenerative aesthetics. . They are extremely effective injectable treatments that help replace and bolster collagen production in the skin. They can be used in different areas such as the eyes, face, hair, and neck.

1. What is the protocol for optimal results? 3-4 treatments are recommended, spaced 2-3 weeks apart

,✨Telogen Effluvium - Post partum Hair Loss ✨

Roughly 3-4 months after having my baby, my hair went into a rapid phase of hair shedding. I particularly noticed this in my hairline where it parts, but notably my hair thickness suffered. TE is a predictable part of the 4th trimester, when estrogen levels plummet and our hair follicles enter the shedding phase quicker and for longer. Pregnancy-associated nutritional deficiencies (iron, zinc, vitamin D), stress, or systemic illness may also exacerbate hair loss by impairing follicular function or disrupting the hair cycle.

I went back taking .doireannoleary to help support and replenish Type 1 Collagen that is found in hair. I am also supporting hair growth with her range of zinc, Vitamin D3, omega 3 Fatty acids and Vit B12.
