After all, our health and our lives are merely reflections of our state of mind. Tai Chi, Chi Kung, and Meditation have been used and perfected as living art in China for the past 5000 years. Practicing Tai Chi, Chi Kung and Meditation is a holistic approach to our physical emotional, and spiritual health. The benefits of practicing Tai Chi, Chi Kung, and Meditation are infinite. On a physical level, the body responds to practice with better mobility and flexibility. The circulation improves and internal organ function improves. The practitioner enjoys higher energy levels. On an emotional level, we learn how to observe our emotions flow by us, rather than permit them to rule our actions. Giving us the space to deal with life in a wiser fashion. This is extremely beneficial to those of us who find ourselves dealing with stress and depression. On a spiritual level, we learn to quieten the mind through moving and sitting meditations. To find the space within all of us that is at peace with the here and now. The Breath ...Through simple breathwork, the student learns to quiet the mind, oxygenate the body during movement and reduce blood pressure. The Mind....Using mindful techniques, the student learns to observe thought patterns, connect the body and mind through visualization/meditation. This greatly assists alleviation of stress symptoms. The body...moving the body in a flowing effortless manner, assist in better coordination, balance, and strength. The student learns to move more dynamically thus avoiding injury and falls. Nadine teaches many varied classes in the Limerick area. She has been teaching with the clients of The Brothers and Daughters of charity for many years and has made great progress in this field. She has also been teaching adult evening and onsite workplace classes in Limerick since 2004.Several of her students have gone on to become teachers.
