This human hair piece had gone slightly brassy, so it came in for a little refresh.
I toned it using a purple shampoo, followed with a deep conditioning treatment to restore softness and shine. After that it was blow-dried, styled and prepared for collection.
All ready now for a very special Confirmation day.
Regular maintenance helps keep human hair pieces looking natural, healthy and lasting longer.
Wig refresh & tone €45.

Some clients love a traditional lace front.
Others find it slightly uncomfortable — especially if the scalp is sensitive.
For this client, we switched to a softer cap lace option designed to feel lighter and gentler on the skin.
Comfort is just as important as appearance.
If your wig doesn’t feel right, there are alternatives.

Following on from my previous video — here’s a closer look at the process in action.
Careful removal.
Scalp cleanse and detox.
Her own hair cut and blowdried.
Frame prepared for re-wear.

Frontal Fibrosing Alopecia requires careful, ongoing scalp management.

In this video, I’m removing a semi-permanent fully customised frontal frame before cleansing and detoxing the area.

A calming lotion is applied to support the scalp before preparing the frame to be safely worn again.
Conditions such as FFA, precision, hygiene and gentle handling are essential.

Every step is designed to protect the scalp first.

This client has Alopecia Totalis, meaning complete hair loss on the scalp.

For this type of hair loss, comfort and construction are everything.

We chose a 100% hand-tied human hair piece because:

▫️ Each hair is individually knotted — allowing natural movement and realistic scalp appearance
▫️ No weft bulk — making it lightweight and breathable
▫️ Soft silicone lining inside the cap — giving secure grip without irritation
▫️ Ideal for sensitive or bare scalps

After fitting, I washed, blow-dried and precision cut the piece to personalise it fully to her face shape.

With Alopecia Totalis, it's about feeling secure, natural and wearable everyday.

Today I met a lady going through combination chemotherapy and targeted therapy.

Her treatment hasn’t caused full hair loss, but it has led to noticeable thinning and a change in texture and condition. That in-between stage can be especially challenging — you still have hair, but it doesn’t feel like your own.

She shared that she was at Mass recently and became very aware of it. Looking around at beautiful blow-dries and styled hair, she suddenly felt self-conscious.

She decided she wanted a wig —she wanted to feel gooagain.

We chose a piece with soft plum tones lightly woven through the front. The colour lifted her complexion and complemented her skin tone and face shape.

She’ll wear it over her own hair for fullness and confidence when she feels she needs it.
Hair is deeply personal. It's about feeling comfortable walking into a room again

I recently had the pleasure of meeting a wonderful lady and her daughter at the clinic.💕

She had previously lost her hair to cancer and had always chosen to wear beautiful hats carefully matching colours and always presenting herself with such grace and style. Facing hair loss again, she felt this time she wanted to explore the option of a wig.

During her consultation, we tried styles similar to what she had worn before, but in the end she chose something completely different — a stunning pearl-rooted piece that suited her personality, skin tone, and natural elegance perfectly.

Moments like these remind me that hair is never just hair — it’s identity, confidence, and feeling like yourself again 🤍🤍

It’s been a busy week here at the clinic, and I’ve meet some truly extraordinary people.

Moments like these are a powerful reminder of how precious our health is — and how important compassion, dignity, and kindness are in every stage of life.

Health truly is wealth.

A little Friday fun with this caricature created by ChatGPT — a light-hearted moment at the end of a week that puts a lot into perspective.

Every detail matters — comfort, colour match, density, and how it blends seamlessly into real life

🌿 Caring for Your Scalp During Chemotherapy 🌿

For anyone who couldn’t make it to today’s talk, here’s a little insight into why I recommend Aloe Vera & Jojoba Oil for soothing, sensitive scalps 💗

✨ Aloe Vera helps calm irritation, reduce inflammation, and deeply hydrate.
✨ Jojoba Oil mimics your scalp’s natural oils — helping to restore balance, protect the skin barrier, and bring gentle comfort.

During chemotherapy, your scalp can become dry and tender as the treatment affects oil glands and hair follicles. Using natural, fragrance-free products can make all the difference — keeping your skin nourished, calm, and cared for. 🌸
