If you’ve seen my stories over the last few days you know I’ve been promoting .ireland free AMH blood tests in January.
What is AMH and what does it mean?
AMH (anti -mullerian hormone) is a hormone protein produced by primordial follicles (follicles in a “deep sleep”).
AMH levels reflect the number of immature follicles that may be available for development in to maturing follicles.

As we age, the number of primordial follicles in the body reduce and this AMH levels fall. High AMH levels can be indivisible of PCOS and love AMH levels of a diminished ovarian reserve.
It is also important to note that AMH levels are not an indication of quality but instead of quantity.

While we cannot increase the number of eggs we have, there are things we can do to improve the quality of eggs and options to freeze eggs if required.
