It was a pleasure to attend “coffee with a cop” at the local coffee shop. Your excellent service and support for us business owners are truly appreciated. Thank you for being a dependable presence in our community! Garda Síochána North Western Region Discover Loughrea Coffee Junction

On 14th November, last, Sergeant Leo Kiernan and Garda Michelle Sands from Loughrea Garda Station held a 'Coffee With a Cop" meeting in Loughrea. The idea behind this project is to encourage communication and positive interactions between local members of An Garda Síochána and the public - over a cup of coffee.
Gardaí were on hand to provide advice on Crime Prevention; Home and Farm Security; and to discuss issues within the community.
We have received some very encouraging feedback about our recent 'Coffee With a Cop' meeting, so please follow our socials for the next 'Coffee With a Cop' meeting.
We would also like to thank the staff at Coffee Junction, Loughrea, for allowing us to use their space to host this event.
