♦️◾️ Adrian Moran wins Shragh 6k ◾️♦️
Adrian Moran Ballinakill & Tommy Larkins has won this years Shragh 6k in a new course record time of 23minutes 15s , averaging under 4 minutes per Km. He didn't break a sweat afterwards and was followed home about 3minutes later by his Club colleagues Ryan Daniels(2) and Jack Donohue(3).
First lady home was Teresa Murray from Portumna. We will edit in the correct times when we get them later on, but Teresa was within moments of the lads.
Harry Fahy won the 16s boys in a fast close run race. ( We will have details on girls later ) .
We are grateful for the 150 entries and to all who participated from near and far, In particular we are grateful to our event partners Woodford Tynagh Community Games for their help in running the event and getting such a great crowd out for the area. Also to Tommy Larkins manager Niall Kelly for the Senior team support and participation of the event. Thanks to the many who helped in the hall with the Teas coffees Sandwiches and refreshments , traffic and race marshalls. Will get the names and edit in later in the week. Overall the real winners here are the children of the Community games area and their future participation in those games.
