Last night we had the pleasure of attending the Business Eye Awards 2025 in Belfast, and we are incredibly proud to share that our director, Dr Dermott Austin, received a Highly Commended award in the category of Young Business Personality of the Year.

From the Heart: A Gift of Health and Hope!

The first day of a two-day Early Heart Screening Programme took place on Saturday 11th October ’25 in St. Ciaran’s College, Ballygawley. Twenty-two students availed of the opportunity to be screened by Dr Dermott Austin, Clinical Director of Loughview Health. The initiative is being funded by Mr Niall Dummigan, a friend of St Ciaran’s College through football trips to Celtic Park. Niall’s brother died suddenly of SADS (sudden adult death syndrome) when he was just 18, so he has first hand knowledge of the impact and devastation this can be to a family.

The second day of screening will be scheduled in the new year. St Ciaran’s is grateful for Dr Austin’s time and expertise which was given freely and also the sponsorship of Mr Niall Dummigan. All monies collected will go towards the purchase of a defibrillator.

Today we teamed up with GCD Technologies as part of their team building day with a focus on health.

Our clinic carried out cholesterol checks, diabetes screening, and blood pressure checks , with plenty of blood samples taken along the way 🩸💉

It was brilliant to see a local company putting their people first and making employee wellbeing part of their culture.
